The Calcott-Vann-Schreiner House   was  deeded to the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library in Kerrville for  use  as a history, genealogy  and archives center. The structure, sitting near the main Library building, has now become the Kerr Regional History Center & Archives.  Phase I of its renovation is completed with the ground floor now housing the Genealogy Center.   The members of  Kerrville Genealogical Society, Inc.   volunteer their time  to help those who come to this Genealogy Center.  These volunteers are able to guide new genealogists and to advise experienced genealogists when they visit the Kerr Regional History Center located at 425 Water Street in Kerrville.   Hours are Monday thru Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM.
